How long have you worked at Camp? I’m coming up on my first year anniversary of working at Camp Kanata! (November 28 2022)
Were you a camper and/or counselor before? I was a camper at YMCA Camp Greenville and Camp Illahee for 8 years! I spent two amazing summers as a camp counselor at Camp Illahee.
What is your Favorite Camp Memory? I loved every Final Campfire this past summer–watching all the campers singing and walking down to the amphitheater hand-in-hand, the epic skits, the lessons shared by candle campers, and lingering just a little longer together by the light of the campfire–all of those moments really showed me how special Camp Kanata is to so many people!
Where were you born? I was born in Los Angeles, California but I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A writer or teacher.
What is the most important thing you've learned in life? Never take yourself too seriously.
What is your favorite thing/hobby and why? Spending time in nature! It’s something I love to do alone and also share with friends and loved ones.
